Hello, Everyone.
I am a college student. I just took financial & managerial acct, as well as calculus I, As long as to gain more experience, i started to look for an opening position as Acct clerk, payable clerk, and some junior positions. So, My question are
1. Am i qualifier for the job that i listed above?
2. Most of the job that needs candidate who knows Quickbook, peachtree… you name it. The problem is, the school doesn't teach any of them, Where can i start learning of these software?
Thanks for answering my question!
According to the US Dept of Labor:
Most bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks are required to have a high school degree at a minimum. However, having some college is increasingly important and an associate degree in business or accounting is required for some positions. Although a college degree is rarely required, graduates may accept bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerk positions to get into a particular company or to enter the accounting or finance field with the hope of eventually being promoted to professional or managerial positions.
Experience in a related job and working in an office environment also is recommended. Employers prefer workers who are computer-literate; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software is especially valuable.
How can you learn QuickBooks 2007? Buy the product if you have to and take an online class on it or buy QuickBooks 2007 for Dummies (2007 is just coming out now).

Simple start is free until you accumulate either 20 vendors or 20 customers.
He is very addicted and I cant get him off this game. He is way to smart at computers. I stoped paying the wow bill, but he made a charecter on his friend's account. Then I stoped paying for the internet, but he has wireless and uses our neighbor's. Then I put parental control software on his computer to block world of warcraft but he cracked my password and deleted it. This has happend for every one I tried. ONE of the parental controls worked but he formated the computer and installed it again. I can't take the discs away because he downloads the game. I take his computer away but he goes nuts and screams and swears. He is tearing our family apart from this addiction and sadly I dont know what to do about it. The neighbor won't block out his wireless because he is a WoW addict to. If I take his computer away, he runs away over there. At his school, each kid has a laptop and he downloaded it and plays at school and school doesnt care. He has almost staright F's. What should I do??????
Have him arrested. Tell the police that he's been stealing his neighbor's internet access, and he's been downloading games illegally (also called software piracy). See if he can play WoW in juvenile jail.
If you can find a Video Games Anonymous or something that treats video game addiction, send him there.
Or maybe he just needs a good spanking. Sometimes the easiest solution works for the toughest problem.

i’m not very familiar with the CV format, i know its a little more simplistic than a regular resume.
either way “traveling” is misspelled. make sure you run your spell check, its the most common mistake.
in my resume, instead of career objective (which is outdated according to my professional resume writer), you might want to put “summary of skills”.
here is what i have as my example:
Dynamic professional with background in project management and marketing. Articulate communicator skilled at building relationships and negotiating across all levels of an organization. Accomplished team leader who thrives in an atmosphere of collaborative idea sharing and problem solving. Computer proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator; fluent in Spanish.
Highlights of Achievements:
Assisted in organizing and executing two expos with a leading newspaper and gained contact with top accounts and celebrities.
Planned and coordinated Ray Mickens Health Fair, contacting and signing more than 15 agencies.
Contributed to the development of strategic PR campaign for Girl Scouts Rio Grande chapter to increase volunteer retention and rewards for outstanding scouts.
